RULES
11 vs 11
 
1. Number of Players: 10 field players plus the goalkeeper.
In coed divisions, 5 female players must be on the field at all times. You can have more than 5 female players on the field, but not more than 6 male players(goalkeeper is included). A goalkeeper can be a male or a female player.
 
2. Rosters: A maximum of 22 players per team is permitted. 
On the over-35 division, five over-30 players are allowed to be on the roster, but only three can play at the same time.
 
3. Substitutions: Unlimited at any time as long as it doesn't interfere with play.  Must occur at the half field line and the referee must be notified.
 
4. Ball: Size 5
 
5. Equipment: Players must wear soccer cleats(metal studs are prohibited) or turf shoes(not recommended on Veteran's Memorial Park fields) and shinguards. Teams are required to have dark color jerseys and alternative light color jerseys.
 
6. Duration of Play: 40 minute straight game without halftime break.
 
7. Play Regulations:
- Slide tackling is prohibited.
- Throw-ins and corner kicks are as usual.
- Goal kicks are allowed from anywhere on the small box.
- Offside rule apply
- Time won't be stopped on injuries or on any other situations.
- Fouls and handballs will be called. In a serious foul, the aggressor player will receive a yellow card and will be sent out for 5 minutes. In a second serious foul, the player will receive a second yellow card followed by a red card and will be sent out for the rest of the game. Also, player will have to serve one game suspension. Referee can show a red card whenever referee consider it appropriate on aggressive fouls.
 
8. Zero Tolerancy Policy: Any player engaged in fighting will be suspended for the remainder of the tournament.  A second incident of fighting from any player on a team, will result in the ejection of the team from the tournament without any refund and may warrant exclusion from future tournaments.
 
9. Playoffs- Tie Breakers:
a. Head to Head
b. Least goals against
c. Most scored goals
d. Goal differential
 
10. Point System:
- WIn= 3 points
- Tie= 1 point
- Loss= 0 points

11. Check in and Release of Liability Agreement: All team managers must submit their rosters within a week before the tournament date. All players must check in before their first game at the check in table.
 
12. Referees: Two to three referees on each game.
 
 *Players can participate in multiple teams, but in different divisions. Players can't play for another team in the same division.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
8 vs 8
 
1. Number of Players: 7 field players plus the goalkeeper.
In coed divisions, 4 female players must be on the field at all times. You can have more than 5 female players on the field, but not more than 4 male players(goalkeeper is included). A goalkeeper can be a male or a female player.
 
2. Rosters: A maximum of 16 players per team is permitted.
 
3. Substitutions: Unlimited at any time as long as it doesn't interfere with play.  Must occur at the half field line and the referee must be notified.
 
4. Ball: Size 5
 
5. Equipment: Players must wear soccer cleats(metal studs are prohibited) or turf shoes(not recommended on Veteran's Memorial Park fields) and shinguards. Teams are required to have dark color jerseys and alternative light color jerseys.
 
6. Duration of Play: For California Tournaments is 30 minute straight games, no halftime. For Nevada Tournaments is Two-25 minutes halves with a 5 minute break in between.
 
7. Play Regulations:
- Slide tackling is prohibited.
- Throw-ins: Ball is put in to play with a kick from the sideline. Corner kicks are as usual.
- Goal kicks are allowed from anywhere on the goal line.
- No offsides.
- Goals scored from behind midfield line(scorer team side) won't count.
- Time won't be stopped on injuries or on any other situations.
- All kicks are indirect kicks. This means you can't kick the ball directly to the goal from a stopped ball. You cannot score directly from the kickoff.
- Fouls and handballs will be called. In a serious foul, the aggressor player will be sent out for 5 minutes. In a second serious foul, the player will be sent out for the rest of the game.
